"It's okay but i feel its small and i have a dwarf hamster!I also think the hamter wheel is niosy and becuase he's a messy eater id rather have the food bowl down lower because a lot of the food falls out of the cage! Thats why i am looking for a new cage! :("

"I got my first hamster on 10-11-2009 i would not recomend for any other animal sides a hamster because it is a little to small for another animal.It comes with every thing you need.They love the food,beding,toys,and some treats.All you need to buy is a little igloo for it to sleep in and a ball for it to run in.This cage is really only for your first hamsterbecause after that you will need a bigger cage this cage is for really only under a year because they grow to much after a year.I hope this helped you decide to get a hamster or any other pet hamster's are not really alot of work"

"My mother bought my son a hamster, a large syrian hamster, and of course this cage came with the hamster. The food, and bedding are great, no complaints there. The cage is sturdy and is easy to clean. It is small. Biscuit our hamster gets cabin fever if he is left in the cage all day. He will chew on the bars and climb trying to escape. The wheel is a bit noisey, we have had guests mention that they can hear the hamster running on his wheel through the bedroom walls at night. This cage might work for a smaller breed of hamster, but if you have a large breed a larger cage is better. I believe that if we didn't take him out of the cage everyday he would go crazy from that cage. It is tooooo small."

"This cage is wonderful i have hadit for a year and it still looks practily bran NEW! It is SO SO SO SO SO SO easy to clean and my hamster loves it and also my hamster likes to clim on the bars! GREAT CAGE!!!!!!"

"For the price I think the cage is rather flimsy and the wheel is LOUD! The location of the food dish enables your pet to throw seed all over the place. The hanger provided for the water bottle is insufficient when the bottle is full."

"Ok i got this cage for my first hamster Ivy she loves it but I took the upper level off beacuse it took up a lot of room. But she loves the wheel and the food and treats that came with it she didn't really like the bedding it came with she likes sepreat peices of bedding. When you take the upper level off there is sooo much more room then you can put a hut in so they have some ware to sleep and hide there food so its good. :-D"

"I bought this cage a while ago, and so far, the only animal I've had happy in it is a single male mouse. My hamster would do nothing but chew on the bars. She looked cramped, so I moved her to a bigger cage and she seems happier there. My vote is unless you get a very small dwarf hamster, get a bigger cage than this."

"i had just bought my first hamster, charlie. he is a roborovskii and is the cutiest thing ever. we bought this cage. for one it is hard to put together. it took four of us to unfold the wire top. then the directions were not clear at all. once we had set up the cage we put charlie in it. he roamed around for a little bit then started climbing up the wire top. and i thought that this was normal until he sqeezes through the wires!!!! so we catch him put him in his ball(which he loves!!!!) and my dad goes and gets a new cage. while he is gone charlie escapes three more times."

"I bought this as a temporary home for the rats I get before they go into the big cage with the others. Most times when I get a new rat they are babies, so they are too small for the large cage anyways. I bought this when it was on sale...I love it It goes together easy and comes apart just as easy. So when I am in between new arrivals I can pack it away in the closet. I did however find one problem with this...the wheel that comes with it is poorly made, I put is in and it sits at an angle for one and two it is not sturdy when connected. I took it out and now the babies get free time out of the cage where they can run in another wheel I bought from here. I would recomment this cage to anyone however I think they should improve the wheel."

"I do not like this cage. I will be going to look for a different one soon. It has little room for my gerbil to play. I dont think there is any way to attach anything either. The wheel never worked from the beginning... then he started chewing everything plastic in the cage even though he had other chew toys... most of it is ruined now. Also, within a week the chew toy that was provided with the kit fell apart."
