"We purchased this item for a feral cat who sometimes stays under our deck. Winter was approaching and we worried how he would make it through another frigid north-east winter since we had taken down the old shed he often took refuge in. We placed it near his food dish and waited to see if he would use it. I'm happy to report I saw him sleeping in it this morning. We also purchased the pad (sold separately) and added a sherpa pad for warmth. Bogey seems very happy, too."

"I bought 6 of these one for each kennel, I raise Blue Healers. Well needless to say my cats have taken over the indigos. they just love piling in and snuggling up togeter, it is the best cat shelter. i wish I would have thought of it. CATS AND DOGS LOVE THIS THING REALLY WARM AND DRY AND YOU CAN FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOUR ANIMALS ENJOYING THE OUTDOORS/. I am ordering 6 more for my dogs."

"I live in indiana and I have 2 min pins that get cold very easy I brought this indigo dog house because I normally leave them out in the in close porch jus tin case I don't get home in time there no accidents I got the house I and they love it they won't come out I have to drag them out of it I put ther blankets in there and they fight oever who going to go in first its so funny its getting clod now I'll see how it work in the cold i brought it in fall curious to see how it does in the summer. my boy freind brough one for his pitt bull and it been a hit! he put straw in his"

"We have had the dog house for a week now and my 3 Pekes love it! I put one of their favorite blankets in their new house and they piled right in. I am about to order another just to give them a little more room. Sammy leads his blind brother, Cosmo, into the house and they snuggle all night long. Nicky will have one all to himself in about a week. It was very easy to assemble and well worth the money."

"This was deffinitly a really good purchase and well worth the money. Constructed well with a popup ventilation cap on top. It's very sturdy. At first Mr. Bear didn't want anything to do with the Indigo/Igloo. He would rather sleep under the deck on the ground instead of in the house. I had a rug in there at first; then I decided to buy a bail of straw and put that in instead of the rug. Boy, did that make a difference. Once I put the straw in it, I couldn't get him out of it. It literally became his home.
We live in Michigan where the winters can be pretty harsh and at night on those really cold nights we would bring him in to sleep. There was a time when he enjoyed sleeping in the house on cold nights but after he got used to the Igloo, with the straw in it, all he did was whine to go back outside. On some nights I let him out and he went straight to the Igloo. When I went to change his straw and he saw me reaching into the Igloo, he would climb in so I couldn't take the straw out. He became visibly upset that I made him get out so I could change the straw. I think that he thought I was going in it or going to take it away. Not sure which but either way, he didn't like it. After I got done he climbed right in and stood there looking at me.
It is truely a nice dog house that I would recommend to anyone who has an outside dog. You can even get a door to go over the opening far added protection from the elements. The resale on these is pretty good to do the the style and sturdy construction. I know someone who sold theirs for well over half of what they paid for it."

"I recently purchased a home and my indoor dog has become an outdoor dog. We live in Florida and the heat is a concern. The house came assembled, I just put it on the screened porch and the dog jumped right in, he loves his house. It is lightweight and easy to move. He is 20 lbs and has plenty of room in the medium house. The color is not white as it appears in the picture, it is more of a taupe color but is very sturdy and looks like it will be easy to clean. It shipped on 4/14 and arrived on 4/15 fedex ground."

"I feel the Indigo Dog Home is a good investment. I have 2 Jack Russells so they are able to both be inside the home at the same time and stay out of the weather. The dog home is of good quality, easilly cleaned and even has a vent hole for air to pass inside. My dogs are very happy with there new home."

"We bought the igloo dog house for our dog that is 18 lbs,thinking she had a long way to go for the 45lb. limit that the dog house was agvertised to fit. When we received the package, we soon realized that our dog was already too large for the igloo. They really need to adjust the size recomendation. We could not keep the dog house even though it was constructed great and I'm sure it would have kept her warm."

"We purchased the XL Petmate Indigo Dog Home for our extra spoiled black Labrador, and he loves it! It's well constructed and well insulated. It's easy to clean (pieces snap in place), and the adjustable vent allows just enough air in/out to keep the cozy "cocoon" smelling fresh. We highly recommend it!"

"I bought this Dog House for my 6 month old GreatDane.
He loves it.I bought the xtra-large and he has alot of room.I put his dog bed in there for him cause i thought he would chew the the vinyl matt made for this dog house.It doesn't get wet inside when it rains and it keeps him warm.It's very durable and easy to clean and very easy to assemble. I give it a thumbs up."

"This dog house is great. My best friend Rosey, an Irish Setter, finds it very hard for to stay warm even with her long fur. However, her coat does do one thing: shed. Therefore, she can't stay inside as much as she might like too. In order to keep her warm and happy when I can't be with her, I put out one of these dog igloos. She loved it from the very beginning and still naps in it, along with her new friend Rocky, a German Shepherd and Shelty mix. Just make sure you wash it once in a while so the dog(s) have a nice place to sleep and so the house stays bright and beautiful."
