"I just bought this seat for my 10 lb min pin. I loved that she was safe, but hated that she wouldn't lay down in it because of the roughness of the sides. Also after buying this seat at Petco, I found it at another major pet store for only $21.99. I think I will be returning this one to Petco and purchasing this one or a better one at the other major pet store."

"I bought this for my small 6 lb. Yorkie. It has a little clip that hooks to his harness. He still has some mobility, but when I have to stop abruptly, he's safe and comfortable. He also enjoys the elevation it gives him so he can see out all the windows. It comes off easily and collapses for easy storage in the trunk or back seat. I highly recommend this for small breeds."

"I bought this product so my dog could enjoy looking out the window. For as much as I paid for it, I would've expected more. The blow up booster deflated on me, the whole booster seat itself did not fit correctly in the seat and my dog was so inbalanced in it. She felt more insecure in it then being in her crate. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone."

"All of the straps are a pain in the neck and the rough canvas or whatever it is is not super comfortable for the dog. I find that if I have to unstrap the whole apparatus for a passenger to sit in my front seat, I'm in no rush to rig it up again. Spend the extra $20 or $30 for the Snoozer Lookout that uses your seatbelt so you can hook up in the front or back seat. You can only use this one in the front and w/prolonged use, I'll bet it would do some damage to your seat."

"I like this booster seat because it keeps my little dog Blackjack safe, and he likes it because he can see outside and sniff the fresh air. I knew that this product was a good idea when I saw it on line, but now I know it was a good choice when my Blackjack sat in it for the first time. The only drawback about this product is small, but a little annoying... The straps that hold the seat are a little difficult to install, however, that is the only small problem."

Car Booster Seat/Abigail's Best Friend

"Most babies learn the word "go" after Mama and no. Abigail,my dachshund, can't say Mama, will never understand no, but knows all of the little signs of go. She will run to the door, tail wagging, eyes wide, and feet doing a little dance. I always worried about her standing in the seat, or worse, my lap, to look out of the window, until I found the car seat at Petco. Now she rides in the seat that has been easily adjusted to her needs and she can see out the window. If I need to (heavens forbid she says) take one of the other dogs, I can adjust the straps in just seconds to fit their heighth. There is a strap to clip to a collar to keep the dog in the seat if they are not accustomed to riding. When the seat is not being used, I fold it and flip it behind the seat. I have had the seat for about a year and it shows no sign of wear. I have told several people who say their dogs do not travel well in a kennel to try a seat and they are amazed at how much happier and quieter their dog is to travel with when in a Car Booster Seat."

Great seat for a small doggie!

"We have been using this seat for a year now with our very small Boston Terrier and he loves it. We bought it initially for a month-long road trip last summer and it was perfect for him. We put his favorite blanket from home and a couple toys in it and he's comfortable and happy for hours of driving. It gave him his own spot in our way over-crowded car. There are car seats out there that cost way more than this one, but there's no need to spend the extra money--this one is well made and isn't showing any wear and tear after a year of frequent use."

"I bought this product because my 10-lb dog goes back and forth between my lap and passenger seat when I take him for a ride. However, he doesn't like it at all.The car seat seems small for him. He has hard time to turn around in the car seat, and he would step half way out to the arm rest (he cannot get out because I launch the hook of the car seat to his harness), and stare at me sadly. I will give him some more time and see if he can get used to it. The packaging also says it is not designed for the front seat that has air bags..."

"I purchased this seat because I wanted to take my puppy EVERYWHERE with me. She has grown into the seat over time (it was bigger than her at first but now she fills it out with little room to spare) but she loves it. We take monthly trips of a minimum of 200 plus mile's due to my job. Now I take her with me all the time. She is safe and so am I. I'm not being disturbed or distracted because of a loose dog running from window to window or trying to get into/onto my lap while I'm trying to manage CA traffic. She loves the view and she sleeps so well she even snores on many occasions! Along with her safety harness (mine not the one that comes with the seat), I attach her harness to the seat belt (I latch it before I put the seat in the car). The seat has its own strap so she is doubly safe. I recommend this product for anyone who has a dog (or cat) that will fit comfortably into the seat. I hope she doesn't grow too much bigger because she will out grow the seat size. I know my Razen is safe-I have had to stop suddenly a time or two and she was not thrown out of the seat or injured because the safety harness kept her in the seat not hanging by a collar! I can turn off the front passenger seat air bag if I want to so she is able to ride up front with me. I have also placed the seat in the rear so she will know how it will feel if we go in a friends car (I also wanted to be sure I could use the product in any seat location in the car). We are ready- any time - any where! And my Razen is Safe Safe Safe!"

"my puppy is too small to see out the window, but he loves seeing people and dogs outside. I was looking for something like this. It's a good height for him, and i like the little strap that attaches hiim to the seat so he is more safe and doesn't get thrown around by the movement of the car. He has lots of room in the seat, and can lay down and go to sleep in it. It didn't come with any installation instructions, but the photo on the package shows how it is attached. It's easy to set up. I love it. my puppy had the most enjoyable unboring car ride he's ever had."

Great for a smaller breed

"Hi - I typically do not write reviews on products I purchase. However I had to regarding this one. I have a Maltese. He has been riding in this product since he was 3 months old. It is a wonderful way of transporting your pets without having to carry around a cage or crate. There is a safety hook for the collar and enough room for them to lay down if they need to sleep. It has enough pocket space to house treats and food, whipes, toyus, etc. It is sturdy and easy to install. GREAT for SUV backseats. My Maltese loves to look out of the window while in his booster seat. The other neat thing about it is if you need to fold it up or tuck away to make room when not in use, very simple. "

"I love this product. The only thing you might want to consider is what your headrest is like. I have a Honda that only has 1 supporthing arm. So I have the clip the top part around that one spot and it does make it a bit lopsided. But it still works great."

Booster Seat Review

"I had a problem with my dog going all over the place when he would ride with me. I bought this for him and he hates it at first, because he thinks that I am going to leave him there, but he gets used to it after a while. He wants to be lying in my lap, which obviously he CANNOT do. The only thing I do not like about this car seat is that it is meant for the front seat and must have a head rest to attach to your car. I have rigged mine so that I have it in my back seat. My dog is getting bigger now, he weighed in this morning at 20.8 pounds. The car seat is for dogs up to 22 pounds. I wish they would make one for medium sized dogs. Overall, I like this product."

"I bought this for my small dog, slightly under 6 pounds. She loves car rides. She loved the booster seat immediately since it gave her a great view. In less than a year, the buckle that goes around the back of the front seat broke, and this was not a result of heavy use; the buckle is made out of a rather cheap plastic material. Furthermore, it later occurred to me that this booster seat is designed for the front seat only, and many car handbooks say not to let small children in the front seat because the force of an airbag can kill them. This car seat specifically says that it is for small dogs "up to 20 pounds," and it is constructed for front seats only....I do not recommend this product."
