Small Dog Booster Car Seat is Essential

We adopted a rescue Cairn Terrier mix and she loves to ride in the car, but insists on being able to see out of the window. Holding her on our lap worked, but got old for both the dog and the human - not to mention the treat of injury to both of them in the event of a collision. Be bought the Kurgo Skybox in brown to go with the interior of our vehicles and we LOVE IT (and so does our Cairn). The seat is made with quality materials and securely attaches to her harness for her safety and ours. Strongly recommended for small breed dogs!

Safety A+

Normally when I drive around with my yorkie, she "needs" to have her head out the window. She gets so excited and "needs" to run back and forth but often this results in her falling off the seat and it doesn't look fun. The way it has worked for the last 7 years, someone has always held her in their arms so she can see outside and not fall while she's at it. But this is hardly safe when I drive alone.
I bought the booster seat a few weeks ago. She likes it for short car rides, and I love how safe it is, as I can have my hands free to drive properly and she can still see outside and even strain enough to have her nose peeking out the window. She stands up in the seat 99% of the time.
Yesterday we went on a fairly longer car ride than normal - about 30 minutes. She seemed like she was going crazy in the booster seat and even tried digging her way out. You have to be careful to put the seat upright and adjust the straps or else a very excited dog will get themselves tangled up and maybe even halfway fall out of the seat, which is not good. But if you adjust it correctly it is very stable.
Ultimately I think this is a great product. Could use a few improvements, and she definitely prefers to be running free. But for safety's sake, this seat gets an A+ from me.
