Good for our green-cheek

We use this for our green-cheek conure and I'm pretty happy with it. Our GCC likes it too. I got a great deal on it, during one of Petco's many online sales, for $47. I think it is appropriate for conures, poicephalus parrots, cockatiels, quaker, etc. The center pole does wobble only a little, but I would never use this stand for any parrot heavier than a senegal. The perches are plastic and can be slippery, so I wrapped a few of them with vet wrap and that solves that problem perfectly! you can get the wrap cheap here at Petco:

This is not made for a cockatoo but for a cockatiel or a conure. My cocatoo had no real room to move around and kept falling off. Need to be able to move posts and it night help.

perches leave much to be desired

I went ahead and picked this up for my sun conure because it was open, easy to clean, and will fit through doors easily. I would be thrilled with it, except the material used for the perches is a hard plastic that doesn't supply a good grip, making it hard for the bird to land on. I managed to get around this by buying 3 wooden perches and using the plastic mount for the lower three perches to attach them, much better. However, the top 2 are a different retention mechanism and aren't as easily changed- still thinking about what I can do there. Overall, good deal for the cost if you're willing to spend a bit more to make the perches decent quality. If you don't change the perches, then it's not worth the money.
