The carrier will work very well for traveling as it is roomy and has good ventilaton and viewing capabilities for my conure.

Caitec Perch N Go

The assembling of this delicate cage is a bit tricky and the materials seem highly breakable. However, for our small bird, the cage seems secure and comfortable for the critter. It is also light weight in comparison to most bulky and heavy travel carriers.

perfect for my Sun Conure!

I ordered this carrier from Petco.com and it arrived in less than a week. It was very easy to assemble - it just snaps together. It's very light compared to other carriers, but feels very durable. My Sun Conure went in it easily and wasn't scared. I love that the bottom has a slight gap to it, so it's a breeze to wash and dry - no scrubbing in corners and shaking water/debris out like with similar carriers for birds. The only thing I didn't care for was the plastic perch that came with it. I replaced it with a natural, edible perch that my bird was more comfortable with. He kept trying to slide off the included plastic one. I also purchased a small stainless steel bird cup and water bottle and attached to the rear (non-opening) door. So right out of the box, assembling and adding accessories took about 10 minutes. That's it, and you're out the door with your bird.
