Loves this stuff

My shar pei loves this stuff. We have tried other salmon oil brands and have not had much success. This salmon salmon sauce just does it for him. He is a typical Shar pei and needs help to keep that skin and coat in good condition. He gets tons of compliments on his lovely coat and healthy look but, more than that it has helped keep his itchy skin under control. Thank goodness.
I suppose with anything it is trial and error to find what works best for your pet and this is the one for us.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My puppy doesn't like it

My puppy needs fish oil as he is prone to skin issues and has a bad heart. I was really mixing it into his food (dry kibble) and he was hesitant to eat it, but he still did in the beginning. He was fed by my fiance who didn't know it had to be thoroughly mixed in and then my dog would not go near it. In fact, he wouldn't eat from the same bowl even after it was washed and he was afraid of eating his food in another bowl. I had to cook some ground beef (which he gets excited about when he can smell it cooking), coat the bowl with some of its fat, and mix the beef in with his food in order to give it a strong enough smell to make him want to try his food again. I think this scarred him although it is lower in odor, just not enough for my picky puppy and probably not in the taste.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
