My husband was able to assemble this for me without too much trouble. Unfortunately, the one door on the right has slightly bent metal or something -- it doesn't fit flush against the rest of the cabinet as it's supposed to. It's still workable, though. It scrapes against the bottom of the stand when you open it, but not too badly.
The stand material seems sturdy enough. The cabinet inside is just a big empty space. From what I could tell, you can't really put the wires and such from the lights, filter, etc in there easily with the default setup. It would have made more sense for the manufacturer to have predrilled holes in the back panels.
So, I just had a handyman guy drill two holes in the back, about 1" in diameter -- big enough to thread the electrical cords and airlines through. Problem solved! Now the llight timer power strip I use is nicely hidden away inside the cabinet. Looks much neater now.
