tough bowl!
Date: September 15, 2007
"I have this little tank to separate my new betta before adding it to the mini bow with my other one to make sure he doesn't have any diseases. Last night my cat knocked the tank off the desk. The lid was strong enough that it didn't pop open so my cat couldn't get to him before I discovered what happened. Even though there was only a small amount of water left the fish was unharmed. You can't say this about most small fish bowls."

Only good to transport fish
Date: July 29, 2007
"I got this for free for joining Petpals...I thought it would be useful in case I needed an extra tank. It worked well for bringing my fish home in...a 16 hour drive from school...and I used it for a sick betta. To me it looks cheap and is very very hard to get open...I've had to pry and use another person to get it open and usually I end up spilling half the water out and stressing out my fish...wasn't good because it was already sick"

Excellent for transporting fishies!
Date: May 26, 2007
"I had to move 10 hours away, but couldn't bear to leave my three goldfish behind. I purchased the largest one and was very wary because I thought for sure it would crack from the movement of the water. Once we got to NC, I checked all the fish, and they were great! It held up! I quickly put them in their regular aquarium and they acted as if nothing happened. I think this is an excellent tank, especially for transporting fish. It's surprisingly durable, and I like the punch-out feature it has for filters and what not. I'm planning on buying three more for each of my bettas. A great product (makes an excellent hospital tank too)!"

no
Date: May 12, 2007
"I got a fish to put in there but after one day you could already see the water getting cloudy because their was no filter. I had to get a new tank that had a filter because I would have to clean it every day. My fish was not at all active in this tank put in my new tank she is swimming like there is no tomorrow. SO DON'T BUY THIS UNLESS YOU WANT TO CLEAN IT EVERY DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Awesome Dorm Tank
Date: November 29, 2006
"I have the largest size of this tank with the cute green lid. I appreciate how the bow-front design makes this cheap plastic container look more like a quality fish tank. I also use a SmallWorld pump and filter (designed for tank and bowls ten gallons and under--it's also sold at PetCo) to give my baby fantail goldfish a healthier home.
I'm a college student, and this tank fits well into my dorm space. It's light-weight and durable, and has survived the trips back and forth down the hallway to the bathroom for water changes.
The only problem I have with the tank is that it scratches easily, but that's to be expected from acrylic. Mine already had scratches in it when I bought it off the shelf at the store. I'd recommend going to the store to personally choose one with few scratches, rather than order one online."

Aquatic Gardens Tank nearly cooked my pleco!
Date: September 12, 2006
"I had the small, one gallon tank. Because it is taller than wide, I thought Mr. Pleco would enjoy working up and down the sides.
One day I could not see him in the tank. He had gotten up on top of the clear plastic inner lid, right under the light!
Good thing I found him right away; he would have been one cooked fish!

Chic tank for fish to enjoy!
Date: August 30, 2006
"I just bought this tank with the light blue top today. The price is phenomenal! My betta, Jorji is loving it! He had a tiny 1/8 gallon tank before, but now, with the $9 Aquarium Gardens Deluxe Aquarium Tote, he is LOVING all the space he has to swim around. I filled it up with 1 and 1/4 gallons of water, and he's just going crazy.
Reason why I only gave it overall four paws is because of the quality mostly. I'm somewhat scared that it'll break if I bump it into something--which I did actually, and it has a little scuff on the right side.
A good tank for beginners who recently discovered their betta addiction!"

Fish Incident
Date: July 6, 2006
"This fish tank was terrible for my two bettas as soon as the tank was full of water the plastic cracked and leaked everywhere. I bought another one thinking that the first one was already broken at the time of purchase, but the same thing happened again. I would never recommend this product to anyone."

Great for a beginer
Date: May 15, 2006
"I got the mini-one so I could put a Betta inside. It looks great, but I would have bought it bigger and cut a slit in the hood to attach a filter, or let a cord through for an under-gravel filter."

Aquatic Gardens Deluxe Aquarium Tote
Date: May 4, 2006
"I recently purchased an anole, and he absolutely loves the tank! He is very very happy in it, and loves the blue top. He likes to climb up his stick, and bask in his light, while staring at the blue. He also likes the purple top, I have it on a tank for him when I clean his blue topped one. I HIGHLY reccomend this product for your amphibian or reptile friend(s)! Just keep in mind not to leave any lights to close, because plastic melts! Otherwise, it's awesome!"

"The medium size worked very well for a beginner Betta bowl. I would deffinitely suggest it for anyone wanting it keep a single Betta at home or in the office.
My little guy is much happier now then he was when we first got him.

Good for bettas!
Date: March 14, 2006
"This tote in the large size is perfect for your betta! There is so much swimming space(contrary to popular opinion, betta's love and need plenty of room to swim and explore!), and I'm sure the large one is 3 gallons. The ventilated hood ensures they always have fresh air to breath at the top(betta's are labyrinth fish that breath air!), and nice bright colors lighten up any space it is placed. Place some Sea Garden plants (1 tall, one small), and an ornament that has one or two swim holes in it and you have a very happy fish(top fin is a good choice for ornaments, as mine have NEVER cracked/flaked/discolored the water). Happy aquascaping!"

Great!! Would Reccomend to everyone!
Date: January 14, 2006
"This is a great permanent aquarium (although they can be scratched) and is very lightweight making it easy to clean. (as opposed to a 10 gallon all-glass which can be quite heavy) I like how it has a lid (no need to buy a hood) and Lee's small world lights can replace the feeding lid. (yes it fits I tried) The downside is that if you drop it while cleaning, it will have a nasty crack. (as opposed to all-glass which are shatter resistant)"
