The worst scoop

By design, this "claw" has holes which allow matter to fall through. The claw sometimes gets hung up and will not close. I have 5 dogs and I know my scoops, and this is inefficient and frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I absolutely love this scoop. As one of the other reviewers commented, sometimes there are times that some of the "waste" sticks to the inside, especially if it is fresh, but it is easy enough to hose off and we leave it outside. It is convenient, handy, easy to use, great for my aching back (no bending over) and durable. Highly recommend.

I never thought I'd get excited about a scooper, but I really like this one - once I'd figured out my "technique". When the grass is long, you have to come up underneath the "mess", close the jaws and kinda "jiggle" the scooper upward. It reminds me of combing a tangle out of a child's hair.
As the description states, it's easy to clean - just spray with the hose. I like the one-handed operation - I usually carry a small bucket with a plastic bag liner to dispose of the mess.

I don't know what I would do without this product. It makes it easy to pick up the dog waste - without bending over (or smelling it). You can pick up multiple wastes and it does a fantastic job. The product is well made and will last for a long time. I would highly recommend it!
