i purchased this for my middle aged boxer baby. she is not a destructive dog - chewing or clawing at things. i have had it about six months and there are three tears in the cushion. i noticed that the bedding started to break down and squash after about three months but thought i would be able to fluff it up again. not true. i wish i would have stuck with my first selection and spent the extra 30 dollars as i think it would have lasted longer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Top is Soft, but not durable.

The bolsters and sides and bottom of this dog bed are good quality. But the top is a very thin soft fabric that is not durable. Within two weeks there were holes in the fabric - center of bed and along the bolster seam. This caused the stuffing inside to come out everywhere! I was able to return the bed and will be shopping for one with a more durable top.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
