I did not like this stand until I saw it in the store set up with a 55 gal aquarium. While I prefer the look of the other stands with scrolling, with small children I was concerned with stability. This stand is solid and sturdy. The 29 gal size looks great with my 37 gal tall aquarium . It was simple and straightforward to put together. My husband made brackets that we used to fasten this to the wall for even more stability. I taped the cords along the back of the tank and down the leg so that you can not see them. I'm so excited to have a well secured, sturdy stand that we can all enjoy. The money I saved on this stand enabled me to purchase a bigger tank and more decorations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

These stands are excellent for holding your aquarium. They are heavy duty material and very stylish looking in black. I have 2 one for my 20 long tank and another for my 55. The adjustable feet are a welcome addition as it makes it easy to balance your tank and stand for the heavy load they will be carrying.

Love the simple modern look. Was easy to put together, but I got the 55g stand so it was necessary to have another body there to help put it together. If you have ever got any ikea furniture, this one is the same deal. And the price was great as well.

It was easy to assemble, probably took less than 15 minutes. I was hoping it would hold (2) 36 x 18 tanks but I guess I didn't pay close attention. The lower section Is only 32 x 18. It looks nicer than the wrought iron stands so I will adjust to it. Very sturdy though.

I bought this stand and I was a little uncertain of it's ability to hold my saltwater tank at first. those fears were soon put to rest and after I put all of my rock and sand in it, and not a single groan or creek. I was pleasantly surprised that it held nicely and it compliments the look of a forty breeder very well. to date it has been up and running for eight months without any problems.

Nice and sturdy stand.
Should not take more than 20 minutes to assemble.
It's an open stand, will not win in the style department but it does the job and holds my 40 Breeder well.

The stand is well built and very sturdy. It was very easy to assemble and I put it together on my own with ease. I bought it knowing that it didn't have a back, shelves or doors. I do wish that they would modify the stand and put a backing on it. I think it looks a little tacky to see all the cords running down the back of the stand. It would have also been nice and fairly easy to add a shelf in the middle. I am trying to modify my own to at least hide the cords but I am pleased with the purchase.

I recently got a 40 gallon breeder and wanted a stand to go with it. I have previously bought the manhattan stands of this series. Two in fact. I got the Brooklyn stand and really appreciate the construction and value. They are nearly identical with the only difference being the cross beams in the legs. Previously they were diagonal now they make a cross, which is probably stronger. The welds also seem neater.
Great stands. You can easily assemble these yourself in about 20 minutes if you can follow directions.

My father does this job in another country(makes metal products) and when he saw it he told me that he sell these things for more than 200€.so best price for best quality!!!i love this. Thx guys!

I had to wait awhile for the 40g stand to be in stock but it was worth it. It was about $15 cheaper online. Decided to upgrade my 29g into the 40 breeder during the $1 gallon sale so I needed a new stand. This stand was much easier to setup than the old one (Manhattan stand). Finished setting it up in less than 15 minutes. The best way to screw on the parts is to not tighten the screws all the way until all of the parts are on. Once all the parts are connect, tighten the screws. Holds my 40 breeder even with the extra weight from my rocks. Mine came in a little chipped on the sides but not noticeable unless you look up close. I think it must have been from the shipping company as some of the styrofoam were also broken in the box. Overall, a great metal stand for a very great price.

I bought this after looking it up online. The reviews were good and it was a pretty cheap stand. After a bought it is was almost done. I was screwing on he feet when the last one wouldn't screw in. Apparently it had a little piece of metal welded were it screws in so the last one wouldn't screw in. Long story short I had to in screw all the feet a little so the stand was level. If that hadn't of happened I'm sure the tank would be exactly what I was looking for. I was a little angry about this but I can live with it.

I decided to give this item 4 paws because the one I got was dented. We were going to return it to a Petco store for a different one, but we planned to check the replacement one before exchanging. The store people were very helpful. When we inspected the one at the store, it had bad paint; so I kept the one I got in the first place, and turned the dents to the back. The reason I still gave this item 4 paws is because I feel like I can trust it to hold my fish, and it didn't cost a lot in the first place. All and all, it was a great purchase.

After taking a long time to actually arrive, the product was damaged when removed from the box. The paint was scrathched in several places and parts of the stand were dented. Instead of dealing with a long return process and another long delay in getting another stand, we just painted the stand ourselves to make it look acceptable. The stand itself is great. However, we would never order from Petco.com again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
