I love this Tagg. Worth the money for sure. Does not bother my puppy at all. Stays in power saving mode when dog is close to the charging dock.

To set the stage, I have a very well behaved pointer/greyhound mix that listens unless she is chasing an animal (usually squirrels and rabbits). At home, I have a fenced in yard, but at my mom's house she knows how to get out of the yard. So, when visiting my mom in Wisconsin for New Years, I brought the tagg tracker and set up the zone around my mom's house.
Within 2 hours, Sadie (my dog) found a rabbit and chased it. Instead of sprinting after her with my mom's Bernese in tow, I took the Berner inside the house and grabbed my car keys.
I was alerted immediately on my cell phone that Sadie had left her "safe zone." I responded to the text with "TRACK" which updated me with Sadie's most recently known location twice. The first location was about 1.5 miles from my mom's house, so I started driving to it. As I was driving, I saw Sadie running down the ditch along the road working her way back to my mom's house. I pulled over and opened the back door and told her to get in the car. She jumped right in and I was SO glad I had (1) decided to buy the tagg tracker and (2) had put it on her as soon as I got to my mom's house.
The ONLY negative I have been able to find with this is that the range of the "safe" zone is very big, especially if you live in a small lot. The zone is also circular, so it doesn't make sense with typical lots being rectangular. The thing that I realized this last week is that if your dog escapes, the likelihood of your dog leaving the safe zone is very high. After that, it is extremely accurate.

I love this device. And now that it has activity tracking, it's even better! The device is there if I ever lose my pet, which give peace of mind, but now I use it every day to track the dogs activity level. Even when I'm not home I can tell when they were running and when they were sleeping and whether a good long walk is in order. Finally, the website and the mobile app are easy to use and easy to set up.
