I recently purchased a new car and needed something that would keep my anxious dog still and help him be calm in the car. After much research and over a month of practice getting in it, he ended up having a complete meltdown the first time we took a longer drive with it. He tried every which way to break free and moved the tube all over the back seat. I had such high hopes for this but it is just not sturdy enough for my 60 lb dog to not think he can break out of it. Petco did make returning very easy.

our german shephard used to "freak out" when riding in the car, especially when we had to use the wipers. we put a blanket inside and one over the mesh. he is very calm now, almost like he is in his own crate.

Way Better for the Car than standard carriers

My Cat and Small Dog hate going in the carriers for long car rides. They like this one way better and even like getting in. I like that in can fold down for storage in the trunk when I'm not using it.
