"The mat was really small and a little hard on the eyes (I'm hoping cats are color blind). My cat wasn't to thrilled with it, i got it for her for when I first brought her home to try to comfort her a bit but she wouldn't have anything to do with it. After she got used to it she plays with the end corners sometimes but she still doesn't like to be near it. Would not recommend it."

"I'm surprised how much my little boy likes the mat. He finally sits on something other than me for his catnaps. However, he still sits up close to me so that he can feel more enveloped in warmth and the mat is pretty small, even for my tiny man."

"My cat is a senior, she is 12 years old, and I got this for her today and as soon as she laid down on it, she immediately fell asleep and started snoring! An hour or so later when she woke up, she started playing with the ribbons on the corners -- this is definately a great product and I wish I had found it sooner! She loves snuggling up to something warm, and in the winter whenever we bring out the electric blanket she is in heaven -- this calming mat will keep her happy all year long!"

"This has been a lifesaver. My cat needs a lot of affection and attention, and he tends to cry all night when we're sleeping. We bought this so he could feel comforted and we could get some sleep & the first night we used it, he slept all the way through the night without a peep. We heat it up for about 20-30 seconds in the microwave, then we put it in his bed and put him in his bed on top of it. Definitely feel it first though, to make sure it's not too hot. I recommend this for cats like mine that can't stand to be away from their owners. The only downside is it's gross to put it in the microwave with all the hair on it, as you eat food out of a microwave. And it's a little bit of a nuisance to have to heat it up every night. But it's worth it."

"I bought this calming mat for my hyper little boy after bringing him to my home, currently "owned" by my three-year-old cat. Like any crazy toddler, my new addition was insanely curious and quite nervous of his new surroundings. I bought this calming mat, stuck the inner part in the microwave for 30 seconds, and gave it to my kitten. Immediately, he fell in love. Even now, he's too big to fit his whole body on the mat, but he'll still cuddle up to his pilow for a nap. I would recommend this product to anyone with a nervous or hyper kitty."

"This is one of the BEST items I've bought so far. I have a Yorky who is currently 3 months old. Although she sleeps in the bed with me she LOVES the "Cozy Calming Mat" to be placed in her carrier when going out for the day. She snuggles up on it a goes to sleep every time......"

"MUCH smaller than I expected... Says it is for a kitten or cat but didn't even fit my 10 week old kitten. He doesn't seem to like it unless is it warm. Then he tries to curl as much of his body on it as he can fit."

"i would have to say that this is the cutest thing that we bought for our kitten!!! out of all of the things we bought for him, this was his favorite. it was cozy and even though he attempted to play with the tassels on the corners... he would always almost immediately fall asleep from the warmth. even though he completely outgrew it, he still enjoyed using it as a pillow. i would absolutely recommend this for young cats!"
