My puppy is seat belted in the back seat and loves to look out the window. The door guard protects the door from getting scratched. I had to play with the guards tabs to get them to fit properly in the window. I have not had any difficulties with the guard since I installed it . I can even roll down the window. I installed these on a Hyundai Santa Fe.

This product only works if the window is rolled all the way down and will only stay in place if you have a fabric-covered door, not leather.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What is that Smell?!?!?

This is a good product for what it does. It protects the car doors, however some of the plastic inserts tend to "pop" out of the window seal. The smell of this product is terrible! I have a brand new car with the "new car smell" and after using these protectors one day my car now smells like moth balls! I did wash them in the washing machine and let them hang outside to dry for 2 days which did help the smell. I gave this product 4 paws because it does do what it says it does, however I never want to smell them in my car again!
