I have an older Buick Park Avenue that does not have head rests for the back seats. When trying to find a better way for my puppy to travel it became a challenge. This worked. Thanks!

Not for large breeds

At 1st I was so excited to get this item so I can take my dogs everywhere with me and not worry about them constantly falling into the gap. I have 2 pitbulls and they both wear seatbelt harnesses but you still have to give them some room to move. This item worked great for the 1st few months, but after them standing and laying on it, it quickly lost it's durrability and strength. It is now useless because when they put any weight on it what-so-ever, it falls right into the gap itself. The material inside (used to make the bridge not the convering) has gotten bent and now just folds right down into the foot space it's supossed to protect your dog from slipping into. Only have had this for about 4 months so this was bascially a waste of my $. If this was sturdier and lasted at least 1 year I would love it. The product is great itself but if you have a large/heavy dog(s). Do not waste your $, it will fall short of your expectations. If your dog is medium or you just have 1 large/heavy dog then it will probably be ok, for now. I still keep it up as a pet barrier tho from the back/front seat. It is also reversible so I am going to try and flip it and see if that will work until the bridge material bends the other way to get maximum use out of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
