This pet gate is very well made and easy to install. It has a smooth finish, attaches securely (I used the screws rather than the sticky pads) and is easy to operate. The only issue I found was the enclosed 'wrench' provided to tighten the struts that hold the gate in place - the wrench is a hinkey sort of a thing that has to fit into slots in the back of each ring. This limits its range of motion. I recommend using a regular wrench.
We have two large dogs and one small dog and the gate works equally well for all three. If you had a very talldog, they might jump over it as it is not real tall. I am going to order another one for a second doorway.

We needed to keep a new kitty and our terrier apart while they were adjusting: kitty upstairs, dog downstairs. We were using a step-over type of gate but that was getting old and dangerous when trying to balance and carry things. After searching several sites and reading reviews, we got this one and love it. Having the walk-thru is so much easier. It's very simple to use and the prop-open feature is wonderful. It was also easy to install (did not need to do any drilling, just the screw-tight pads were enough). It's so sturdy and looks great, really nice color. Highly recommended.
