I placed a 8oz petco water bottle and it seemsto wigglearround alot. If the watter bottlke it selfhad a larger base like the 16oz then I think it would stay still. How ever I think 16oz of water is to much for a tiny little dwarf hammie. Overall it is sturdy and well made.

I have 3 aquariums for hamsters one 40 gallon and two 20 gallons. I have to use tape to attach there water bottles So disapointing. Today I got two guinea pigs and attached a 32 ounce bottle at fell off twice. I desided to buy this cermic bottle holder and works great. Be sure you use a standard round 4 or 8 ounce bottle. It does not need to be petco brand though its likely going to be the lower cost option. I recomend this to others as I'm going to buy three more soon.

I bought this holder so my ferrets could still have water while they played in their playpen. They drink out of both bowls and the bottle, but I was worried about putting a bowl in their playpen because they might knock it over. And due to the height of the bars of their playpen I could not attach the bottle to the playpen itself or the bottle would be too low to drink from. So the ceramic bottle holder was a perfect solution! It works great with the Petco bottle made for ferrets. It holds the bottle at just the right height... and so far my ferrets have climbed on it, jumped on it, and bumped into during playtime and haven't managed to knock it over! I would definitely recommend this product, especially if your cage or playpen makes it difficult to attach bottles.

I finally found the perfect bottle holder for our loved hamsters. This item is great! No more tape to hold up the bottle on the aquarium. PERFECT!

I bought this for a dwarf bunny hoping it wouldn't be too small and get tipped over. So far it's worked out great. It's nice and heavy and has not been tipped over at all. It can be used permanently in a habitat or on the go in a playpen. It's a great way to ensure your pet always has a water bottle available without you having to worry about where or how to hang it. It's sturdy, easy to clean and looks nice. I would recommend this product for anyone with mice and hamsters all the way up to piggy's, chins and even dwarf rabbits.
