I used a 20 lb bag and it was almost perfect for my 45 gallon tank. Could have used just a bit more, but not worth the extra bag. Looks awesome, however, there was quite a bit of grainy substance in the bag as well, so be careful not to rinse it directly down your sink (we put it in a strainer, held it over a bowl, and ran water through it. Bowl caught the grainy stuff, rest of the water just overflowed down the sink)!

This is great gravel, adds personality to any tank looks fun but still clean. Looks great in my tank, blue or black lights really make the bright Colors in it pop. Only downside is after a year the yellow starts to loose its Colorado. Other then that its great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

this black gravel with color highlights is just awsome once you add your clo fish and black lite you will get a dramatic effect that makes a great nite light for my 4 year old and gives him something else to wach beside television.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wonderful neon shiny rocks. I think with the "night" light setting on my new tank, this would be a super nightlight in a bedroom for a child!
