We just received this in mail and were extremely disappointed. The gate is poorly constructed, and the door does not even close. There is a 3" gap between the door and the side of the gate, which does not line up. The wood at the base looks as if it has been chewed on, so wondering if I received a returned item. The "doggie door" spindles are loose and would have to be glued in to keep from breaking. BEWARE of this gate
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
