It is too heavy, loud, and air too cold.

I used it on my Himalayan Persian cat, and 2 Pomeranians. It would not hold its weight good clipped on a table and kept falling down, the nozzle does not stay on the end of unit, kept blowing off. It sounds as loud as a vacuum cleaner, scared my pets to death with the noise. All 3 were shaking from the air being cold unless you are right on the nozzle, it's luke warm at the opening, drying them at the nozzle opening was not happening because of the noise. I finally tried to clip it on a cart next to a metal kennel and let it hang through the bars to get it to stay in place, with the kennel at the doorway of my garage so the sunlight would be on the pets to be warm while they dried, but after 30 minutes, still very damp fur. I gave up on the cat after 20 minutes of trying to dry him with this thing and finished him with my hairdryer in 15 minutes. I still had to finish the two Poms with a hairdryer to get them dry. I got this to save time on drying 3 pets but it took a lot more time with it. I bought a Conair pet hairdryer yesterday for 16.99 which is what I should have done in the beginning because I am now out 65.00. Plus the 16.99 I had to spend for the new dryer. The Conair works great, does not get too hot, blows good air, and has a holder for hands free drying, and a lot less expensive and more user friendly. I guess I'll sell the metro on ebay because I will not waste any more money to ship it back or take it in for a store credit. May be good for drying paint, but not pets unless they are deaf and don't have much fur to dry.

Used on7 mo old standard poodle. Never got close to warm. Nozzle kept flying off & hitting the dogs. Took just as long as my regular hair dryer. Returned to store for store credit. Will search for another.

Grooming tools for pets

After viewing this dryer on line with petco and reading the reviews posted, I ordered the Metro Air Force Flexi Dry. We have a Cocker Spaniel with a long thick coat, especially on his ears, sides, and 4 legs. In the past, I used my own hair dryer finding that it would over heat before I had finished drying my pet. The Metro dryer is so much better. I can clip in on my work bench, which gives me hands free for combing and grooming. The dryer has a good force of air, is not too warm and with the goose neck allows me to reposition the dryer. It took me about 10-15 minutes to dry my pet. The drying is not too loud and I am sure after more baths, he will become happier about his drying. The dryer is compact and has a very heavy duty cord. The clamp is very large and stayed secure the whole time I was using it. Since, Cocker Spaniels require baths every 7-10 days, it will get good use.

I liked how easy it is to clip it where you need it then use both hands to position the pet. Works like a charm on my maltese and never too hot or too cold.

Good but not great

Having a dryer I can mount on a table is helpful, but it takes two hands to adjust the angle of the dryer - and if you need to do it while controlling your dog - it's hard. This may be less of an issue for smaller, cooperative dogs that you can move easily even if you can't move the dryer.

Wow, I was amazed by this dryer. I always had a problem bathing my dog, but this product dried my dog in less than 10 minutes!! I must admit she was a little scared at first because of the sound, but what I like the most about this dryer was the temperature. It is perfect because it protects the hair and skin texture.
I would definitely recommend this dryer!
