My cats love this product. They are eager for dinner. They come and find me. I have served this brand for the past three years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

There are 4 big flags that reading the ingredients of this product should raise. First, the first ingredient is "water sufficient for processing" when any responsible vet--and even Petco employees--will tell you that meat should be the first ingredient. Second, there is wheat flour and soy protein in the food, both of which are bad for cats. This is why you'll see "no wheat, corn or soy" in high quality foods. Third, the main meat source in the food is byproducts, which natural foods do not contain, and that means things like lungs and feathers which have little nutritional value. Lastly, there is only 2% fat in the product, which is far below the minimum percent fat that cats need in their diet. While lowfat may be good for you, the same is not true of cats. Yes, my cats would gobble this product up because it is "yummy", but that doesn't make it healthy, just like junk food isn't for humans despite it being yummy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
