This is the most functional cat door I have purchased. Since I pet sit professionally I saw this door at a clients and thought it looked tailored for a cat door. For hollow doors you need to raise it a little. My cats love it and I highly reccommend this! So happy Petco carries this!

My cats love the door I have in what I call the cat room. They can get in & out as they want.. I'm going to buy one for my bedroom door now. I alsoo didn't go to the floor as my doors are hollow.

I did not actually line up the cat door with the bottom of my door as instructed because its a hollow door and I did not want to have to worry about ruining the structure of the door. The cut out outline that comes with the door is super handy. It was very easy to install. My cat loves it and so far my dogs haven't tried too hard to get through it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
