My robo and my winter white hamsters both love these! My robo would spend the night making a house out of the box. She would actually sleep in the cardboard box after she bit holes for doors and windows. I will buy this for my Syrian hamster as well.

My Chinchilla is fussy when it come to eating hay and would much rather eat treats. But he will eat the hay in this box. I think he goes for the marigolds and mint. Whatever it takes for him to eat hay! Yay!

I thought these were a great idea until it sat in the cage for a week with only a few little nibble marks. My guinea pigs would just rather have a toilet roll tube stuffed with hay and treats. Save your money, don't bother with this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
