"I love this home. I got it for my ferret and she loves it. There is just enough room for a bed under the bottom shelf and a large square litter pan on the floor under the ramp. My girl's hammock fits perfectly in the space above the lower shelves and there is not so much room she can fall and hurt herself. All surfaces are easy to clean, the doors make it easy to get into, and it doesn't take up too much space in my room. It's the perfect amount of space for living, sleeping, eating, and a litter box. I'd never consider anything smaller. My friend's ferret can come and sleep over and they still act like they have enough space."

"i had a ferret and got this cage and i just saw the ferret's stamina go up when i got it the ferret always woke up refreshed and i never had a problem with the ferret escaping if i wouldn't have gotten this then my ferret would have gotten lost because it escaped out of it's other cage"

"I brought this cage as a home for my four female rats. At first they were too small, and could fit between the bars (most rats can fit through anything as big as a quarter). Once they got bigger, they loved it. My only complaint is that urine collects on the trays, and requires daily mop ups (otherwise the smell is overwhelming). I had heard this before, and ignored it, but it is definately something to think about. But my rats love the multiple levels, and it is not so huge that it takes up a room."

"One of the ladders broke when I first put it together, so I couldn't use one of the levels. My ferret always takes the food dish out of its little holder and pushes it over the edge. It looks like my ferret it uncomfortable when he is on a level because he doesn't really have enough room to turn around. But on the other hand, he hasn't escaped."

"I absolutely love this cage. It's good for a single chinchilla but perfect for two to three rats! THIS WAS THE BEST INVESTMENT I HAVE MADE FOR MY RATS! I have two of these cages and they are very easy to assemble and organize to fit a 12' wheel, hammock, or anything that you want! One thing to think about if you have miniature or baby rats is that they may be able to squeeze through the bars until they grow a little. If so you can rap it in a non toxic wire fence if you are sure they will grow. It's very easy to take out the shelfs and wash them in you kitchen or bathroom sink! I recommend covering the base with news paper before
putting the bedding in so that you don't have to wash out the base every time you clean the cage! This is an amazing prouduct! Definitely a great investment for a good price!"

"I have owned this cage for both adult male rats, and for 2 chinchillas. My rats did fine in this cage and loved it. However, my chinchillas chewed through the plastic base and got out. I wouldn't suggest this cage for chinchillas."

"This cage was the best purchase I've ever made. Although it says its for chinchillas and ferrets, I have four female rats and this was a great upgrade for them. I was a bit worried that they would climb through the cage openings but they either can't or are to smart to stray far from their food. I even have a small new one who could easily get through the rungs because of how young she is, but she's to busy sleeping or playing with the other three. Again for rat owners a great one for the little guys."

"I just bought my first chinchilla and we both love this cage!! The levels are VERY sturdy and there is plenty of extra room to add things if you desire. This cage is an excellent choice and it's well worth the money. It's not cheaply made like most cages.

"When people say that their babies could get through, I don't get it. My babys can't get through, and no, they're not fat. As a chinchilla breeder, I have had much experience with cages, and I think I like this one the best. It's roomy, has shelves for my chin to hop on, and ven comes with a food bowl!
The apeerance isn't quite up to top, but what do looks matter? My pet loves it, it's easy for me to clean, and that's all that matters. And the looks are good, just not as excellent as everything else. I suggest this to any new chinchilla owner because it will make your chin feel right at home!
One advantage is that it does not have a wire bottom (wire bottoms can lead to sore feet), and that it is easy to clean this way.
All I have to say to this is thank you so much, petco!"

"this cage just came in the mail today. it was HUGE!!!! i set up the cage by myself (i'm 13) and it was fairly easy, but the shelves took a long time to get on. the degus were kind of scared when i first put them in it, but after about 5 minutes they were settled and explored all the levels. it was hard to put the shelves in the order it said, so i switched them around so there is one shelf on the bottom, the middle one is to the far right, and the top shelf is all the way ontop. the cage looked big before it was assembled, but after i put int he wheel it looked small... i hope the igloo fits. this cage is great, but be cautious when purchasing it."

"I purchased this cage recently for my two rats and it's a hit! Just the perfect size with plenty of levels for them to climb between. The holes on the platforms were ideal for hanging rope bird toys.
The cage has three entrances, making catching the critters a breeze. I also like how the bottom comes off for easy cleaning."

"this cage is great! my chinchilla loves the different levels. you can put the shelves in different places from where the directions say and your chinchilla can climb through the holes, up the side of the cage, or jump. mine doesnt even use the ramps and he can hop from the floor to the top shelf. this is easy to assembleand has plenty of room. i havent found any problems with it except that he can easily flip the food dish. if you get this cage (which you should) then buy a ceramic food dish or something heavy so your chin cant flip it. oh and also, you will find droppings and bits of anything else you put up on the shelves on the floor around the cage, so i got a dustbuster for an easy clean. i would still definately reccomend this product to any chinchilla owner!"
