Not sturdy enough

I bought this scratching pole for my 2 ten pound cats. I have it up against the wall for more support but it is not sturdy enough for my two cats. I am so disappointed with this scratching pole. I would not recommend this to any of my friends.

It was easy it assemble. Cute color. I wish it was bigger and I wish the two huts were bigger. I have 5 cats and they use it. I am planning on setting up shelves on the walls and I want this to be the base. It is a great, big scratching post.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you purchasing this tree for kittens, then it is a good buy for the price, but I find it does not support my two adult cats very well. They do not like the hammock and prefer carpeting to this plush stuff. I plan on addind additionla support under the cube that does not have a ladder.
