My Syrian LOVED his peanut - until he outgrew it

This peanut is awesome! Be warned - as of this writing, the description Petco has listed for this peanut pictured is the description for the "haystack" gray thingie. This peanut will NOT house a Guinea Pig!!!
Beyond that error of the website, though, this peanut is super cute and my Syrian loved it so much. But now that he is almost full grown, he just can't really fit in it any longer. :( Perfect little home for a smaller hamster, but not for the larger guys. We miss our peanut. boo.

...eh... kinda small for 2 gerbils

I bought this peanut because my 2 gerbils had demolished their straw hut overnight (which they loved!). Well, my gerbils refuse to sleep in it (I even caught them sleeping in the food bowl as an alternative). I've even tried putting nesting material and bedding in it to entice them. It is a little smaller than their hut was (the right side is smaller than the left). So I guess I'll just buy another straw hut and hope for the best. Every once in a blue moon, Gretchen will sit on it and Scraps will scratch at it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My Winter White Dwarf Hamster Grayson just loves his peanut. He gets his privacy. He always loves sleeping in it. It can smell bad sometimes though. Overall great amazing product.

My hamster lucky loves this peanut shelter. She chews on it and sleeps in it. She also gets on top of it and tries to look for food.
