Really helpful way to get vitamins into my Lepoard Gecko

Ok, first I'd like to say that the other reviewer is correct, the geckos do not like the taste. However, mine doesn't like mineral powder on his insects either and will wait to eat them until its come off. I've tried numerous powders and none work. He was becoming vitamin deficient so finding this stuff was a life saver. It is really easy to give vitamins and calcium to him in liquid form. He does shake his head and everything but the point is, he gets the vitamins. It is also helpful for when the animal is sick/not eating and may need a boost.

Do not recommend for Leopard Geckos

Perhaps it was just my leopard gecko, but she hates this stuff. I bought it because I thought it would be more convenient than shaking crickets in a bag filled with vitamin powder. I put a drop on the side of her mouth to try it out. She began thrashing her head back and forth and almost jumped out of my hand. I tried the drops again, but put them on her crickets. Same thing happened, she got a bite of a cricket, spit it out, and began thrashing around a bit. Must taste bad! anyway, I'm sure this works well for some reptiles, but certainly didn't pan out for me. If you have a leo, just stick with the powder.

i have only given it to my beardie for about a week. i have noticed he seems more active and his skin is healthier. I put it on his food such as crickets from Can O Crickets and live supperworms. I haven't tried to give it to him by hand but im sure he would eat it but i also want to make sure its the proper dosage so its easier to put it on the food. i also decided to get it because if what i am feeding isn't enough it helps keep him healthy and happy.
