hello i live in Florida i have had many small fish tanks. but i have to say with all my other fish tanks my water was always dirty cloudy i could never get it right no matter how much money i would spend so i was reading all the good things about this one so i said i am going to give it a shot god bless i am so happy with this tank its not even funny i love it first of all its so fancy looking its been 4 months since i set it up my water is always crystal clear of course you have to change its filters and carbon but it never gets cloudy i would deff recommend this tank to any one who is picky as me i need to see my water clear 24/7 lol. now its down fall which i myself don't mind at all is if you put bubulers in your tank the whole top of your tank will have bubles but i like the way it looks it makes it look cooler hope this helps you.

This tank is perfect in every single way, from the design to the display of it. The only problem I have is the fact that it doesn't come in any other sides then a 6 gallon and a 12. If it was a 30 or a 40, it would've been even better. Plus this tank is perfect for a little tropical fish tank. Guppies, Bettas, and etc.

I really love the sleek look of this product. It makes a great addition to my home. I wish the stock lights were reef capable, I had to purchase an additional fixture. The filter included is more than adequate for the tank's size. I added a Koralia Nano 240 pump for more flow, but it's almost too much. It is a great tank for both fresh and saltwater. My local fish store has had them set up (sand have sold them) as both fresh and salt. My only "comlpaint" is the very small opening, but without this small opening it would not look as good as it does. The tank currently has 7 hermit crabs (red, blue, and zebra), 3 lbs of live rock, 10 lbs of live sand, and a very small Pulsing Xenia Frag. Please keep in mind that the size of the tank is too small for about 95% of saltwater fish and because of its small size will require more frequent water changes to keep clean, healthy water for your animals.

This is my office tank...it sits on the corner of my desk. I get a new compliment on it every day. My EDGE currently houses danios, guppies, otos, a cherry barb, and assorted shrimp. The LED lighting is strong enough to keep my numerous live plants happy/healthy and the powerful HOB filter silently provides a wonderful current in my tank. For those who like a gentler filtration, the filter flow is adjustable. Fishing around in the tank with a net requires skill and patience but the small opening is well worth the 360 degree viewing. I keep a magnetic glass cleaner in the tank which I use to remove any of the bubbles that form on the top surface of the tank (a pipe cleaner would also work).

checked two stores and black was the only color available. took a chance and ordered the silver at petco.com. glad i didi! was packed solid (no broken parts)! beautiful tank!

I have two Fluval Edges - one at home (black) and one on my desk at work (silver). I think they are the perfect tank for betta fish. The filter flow is adjustable and flows in a manner that has very little water disturbance, which is perfect for bettas. Critics say that bettas (being air breathers) have nowhere to go for air, however this is easily remidied by keeping the water level 1/4 inch from the top. There is an open area in the center of the tank, as well.
This is my use and recommend for a betta fish, and other small fish. VERY NICE.
