Too soft, narrow & unstable for medium sized breeds. My Beagle and Scottie were scared to get on them because they were shaky and soft. They worked for my mom's Maltese though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The stairs were too light....I felt like if my dog could topple them over mid-step so I returned them.
Also, whoever shipped them squished them into a box that was way too small so they came distorted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
