Easy install

I have a saltwater tank and read about in line heaters in the past and haven't tried one because of premature breakdown. I chose the Hydor because of the reviews. It's been about a week since the install and it seems that the temperature in the tank is consistent. Plus it's taken the unsightly glass heater out of the tank giving more room for my fish to swim around!

Excellent heater for external canister

This product is perfect when using a canister filter. You can hide it with the filter and have one less thing obstructing your tank. Works quickly. Make sure to have the right diameter tubing. Mine is a mm large and I had to wrap it with plumbing tape, and it still leaks a little bit.

In line heating is an awesome thing to combine with a canister filter. Get the giant tube out of the tank for more realism. Also great for fish safety, nothing for plecos or bichirs to burn themselves on. I have been using these now for a few years and have had no issues with them. The only complaint would be the lack of connectivity. The smaller unit I believe can hook up to 1/2" tube and the larger on to 5/8". Wish they made different ends to cover more sizes.
