Well, I have had my dog on this for ten months now. She loves the food, but has not lost an ounce. She is eating the recommended amt for weight loss, confirmed amt with the vet, and still nothing. I am now trying the new lite one in the tan bag. Also, I hate the fact that this only comes in the 8 pound bag. Needs to come in at least 15 pound bag. It cost a fortune!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i love this dog food. i have used nutro's for the last 8 years for my dogs. i recently discovered the small breed line and switched over for my 3 little doggies. i have 2 dotsie mixes and 1 maltese and they love this food!!! i just wish it would come in bigger sizes b/c buying the small bags for 3 dogs, i have to get in bulk. overall would definintely recommend!!!

I have a 4 year miniature pinscher (minpin) named Gucci! I was concerned about the color of her stool. Her last doctor visit they said her food was not digesting properly & she was a little over weight (14 pounds) & that I should change her dog food because, like humans, it can cause health problems. The vet recommended several different good, all natural dog food. Although a little expensive, I selected Natural Choice weight control. It has been about a month and I am noticing the changes in my dog's figure & stool. She has even tried different flavors of Natural Choice. This dog food has been great for her & me!
I would recommend this to a friend!
