Thin and Smaller Than Advertised!

I ordered 5 of these and my first reaction was that they were thinner than I had expected for the amount of money they cost. I put one in my standard 22'x36" crate and was really surprised to see how small the pad was. It was supposed to be 23'x36' (that is on the label) which would have fit perfectly. I took out a tape measure and saw that it was only 22"x33" which is considerably smaller! I am returning them and am going to try and find something else that will fit my crates...and probably something a little thicker too.

Besides being thin, the color was as expected, the size was correct and the dog seems to think its ok. I do think it's overpriced, ad this is the cheapest I found it (on sale). Can't comment on wear, have only used it a week.

Not Sherpa ! More of a fake nylon sort. Not enough padding for the price either !

Looks and feels sturdy. Measurements were exact so no bunching up . Will wait and see about the odor detraction and wear since I just got it. I wish it were a little more padded but I laid it on top of another kennel pad and it is perfect for my dog.

I have a chewer for a puppy and she demolishes most fabric items (she can chew through the nylon straps on those kong tug toys in a matter of minutes). So far, she has not destroyed it or even managed to damage it, despite a few tirades when I have left her in her kennel while I had to go out. I have also been happy with the ease with which I could wash it.

I love this product -- my dog chews rawhide bones while lying on dog beds and mats and the sticky mess is normally very hard to remove, but not with this pad. Stuff just wipes away.

Nice but seriously flawed

I had this bed for 2 days and my dog had already ripped it to the point that it is unusable or I risking him eating it. Now to be fair my dog likes to bite and chew but he hasn't done this to other beds. He seemed to have focused in on the product tag and a pull tab on the sleeping side of the bed. To be honest, I thought it could be a problem but then figured that the bed must be tough enough to take pulling and chewing since they designed it that way, boy was I wrong. And why would you need a pull tab? The bed is soft and pliable how hard is it to remove from a crate?
Here are the pros:
Appears comfortable
Water resistant if not waterproof
Washable
Cons:
Product tags are on the top side of the bed
Pull tab is on the top side of the bed (why do you even need this?)
My suggestion is, if you get this bed cut all the tags and tab off. I'm rating this bed Average because of the flaws otherwise it is between Good and Excellent
