I always use this product for my syrian hamsters. Works great and they seem to love it. Also, I researched the best bedding type for hamsters and aspen wood shavings is the healthiest for hamsters!

I've used all kinds of bedding and this is my favorite! Aspen is the only kind of wood shavings you should use for your hamster which is the wood portion, and I like the paper bedding, but only for the hamsters to sleep in and use as nesting material. This bedding is great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like to spread this over the paper pellets for a little extra bedding/cushion! It seems to absorb additional odor and allow me to go a week between changing out the cage. I like this MUCH better than the plain paper bedding.
I would recommend this to a friend!
