"This aquarium by far is better than a glass aquarium. It has a lifetime warranty! It is much more clear than a glass aquarium. It is lighter than a glass aquarium. It has four holes in the top for a heater, filter, and two small holes that I have used for my airlines. The min opening at the top large enough to get all of your decor in. The filter opening is large enough for an Emperor 400 filter. Maintenance is very easy. Be carefull because acrylic aquariums scratch VERY easy. So far I am scratch free. If I had a complaint it would be about the light system that is shipped with it. It is not of the same quality as the aquarium. I will definitly by a Sea Clear aquarium again. Spend a little extra on a great aquarium, you won't be disappointed!"

Just the right thing

"I bought this tank because I had seven fish in a ten gallon tank, which is not good at all. I have two koi, two black tetras, two blood parrots, three goldfish and a pleco currently residing in my now 36 gal tank. It is a superb tank and was well worth the money, my only complaint is that because it is acrylic, it is very easy to scratch and I sadly managed to scratch the tank only an hour after taking it out of it's packaging. Luckily it is only on the top where you can't see it. Also, I wish that the hood included the expand-a-light fixture so that you can have more then one bulb, which is necessary for a planted tank. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this tank to others as all the fish are happy, the tank is completely clear, and it fits both my 40 gal and 20 gal filters in the filter slot. I've included pictures however, I apologize for the low quality, they are from a camera phone."

"This product is vary nice looking and i hope one day i can get a saltwater aquarium started but i first need to save up the money for the fish, invertabrits, and supplys. This produtr looks to be in great quality and would be a greart thing for your home and its fun to take care of a freshwater tank i would know i have one. so think a bout it and if you do get one have fun with it but don't over feed the fish of kill them or release the fish eather."

"I have had my bow front aquarium for over a year now.
IT is very nice and great for the price I paid from Petco.
Because it is acrylic it scratches easily. Becareful cleaning the inside from algea and things. I bought a scraper that was not suppose to scratch my tank but it did.

Beautiful, but check top openings

"This is a gorgeous tank, but be aware that the top is partially enclosed (an advantage overall--looks nice and prevents evaporation and fish jumping out). The 36 g bowfront has a 2"x15" space 3/4" from the back for your filter, plus a 1 1/2"x2" hole in the back left corner for your heater. The main opening, 5" by 23", is under the light, and includes an acrylic shield which is easy to re-use if you upgrade your fixture. I had no problem fitting anything, but an unusual setup might require cutting the acrylic. I've had no scratches. The thin strip of acrylic between the filter opening and light opening has warped a bit, probably from the heat of my two T5 retrofit lights, but not enough to be a problem. Did I mention it's a gorgeous tank?"
