My first pair of clippers were the Wahl Pro-Series, it was not a profressional pair like this but i loved that it was cordless. I got this andis pro pair because they had more blade options and a faster motor. They cut really well, makes it very easy to give my dog a pretty good haircut even though i'm not that good at it, i like them. HOWEVER. They are heavy. I'm kind of a wimp but it still weighs 1.1lbs. And i realize that i really do not like a cord. Just when you get into the groove of clipping the dog you try to get to a different part and you gotta finagle with the cord. Annoying since it's not necessary. Next time I would buy the Wahl Bravura. It is well liked by groomers from what i've read online, it's cordless and it weighs 11ounces (vs. the Andis' 17). That is a big difference. So i don't recommend getting the Andis single OR double speed, look into the Wahl Bravura instead.
