"I bought one of these bird feeders to keep Crows, Pigeons etc. from the feeder. I wanted to attract small and intermediate sized songbirds, but the surrounding netting only allows smaller birds such as Mountain Chickadees and Finches to enter. My question: Do you have feeders of the same type with different netting diameters ?
The packing container unfortunately says nothing about the kind of birds that this feeder is designed for.
Thank you

Breaks easily
Date: August 18, 2006
"I ordered two of these feeders online. One arrived broken. I went to my local store to exchange and after hanging in the back yard for only a couple days, a second feeder broke in the same place. The problem is the rivet connecting the wire to the feeder. It just isn't strong enough and falls apart easily.
The whole point of ordering these feeders was to cut down on the large birds - especially pigeons - in my back yard. The bottom plate to catch stray seeds looked like the perfect thing to cut down on seed waste under the feeder. However, with the faulty wire I can't hang these feeders at all.
These feeders look great and seem to be a perfect design except for the faulty wire attachment. If this one thing was fixed then I could probably give these feeders a good recommendation. The one feeder I have left (that hasn't broken apart yet) looks nice and functions well.
