"I bought both sizes to see which one was better and when they arrived the smallest was way smaller than I expected and the handle bar fell off. The large one came perfect and already assembled. My budgie, Lily, loves the big one! She gets in and it takes forever to get her out! Sometimes I just carry her around the house in it because she loves it so much! All in all, great product!"

"I bought three of these for travel carriers to take my conures to the vet, or outside for some sun. After using them less than 6 times, two of them have broken. One of my birds escaped outside (he returned about an hour later, thank goodness). I will be purchasing more substantial carriers from now on."

"This is a great bird carrier because not to long ago we incubated 8 cockatiel eggs and I took one (Rosalie) from Virginia to Utah in this carrier! Its great for pet owners who love to travle with their pets! Any bird from a full grown cockatiel and under will be just finr in this!!!!!!!!!!!"

"" this product is awesome, but if you have it for as long as i do the plastic top corner comes off a little bit but dont worry you can fix it by putting duck-tape on it. My hamster loves it! ( angel my teddy bear hamster ) She is a bit bigger than other hamsters but she is the best! so ever for my dwarf bunny ( Simon ) he doesnt fit in it so and bunny lovers out there this is not the product for you but any hamsters out there it just fine. also it doesnt fit any toys or beds in it. so watch out as i am typing this on the 2 of aug at 12:20 in the afternoon my hamster is in it...... sleeping........

"I am going to get two rats on the 30th of this month and so I'm doing lots of reasearch and coming to petco.com alot to see what the petco near my house has in stock and I saw this carrier online and decided to read reveiws it got really good even exellent reveiws I got the large one and it is the perfect size and so easy to get apart nd open and they can't run to the back of the cage it also adds color to my room as well as the rats area in my room I just love the rats at petco and I hope that when I get them they'll love the cage to be in it and willbe safe I LVE IT THANKS PETCO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I bought this in case any of my ratties needed a trip to the vet, however when it arrived it was smaller then expected. It is big enough for one rat only for a short period of time. I don't know how well a bird would fit into this. The opening is good you can reach right in and get your pet from inside without any fuss. I would recommend this for smaller animals and only as a short term travel cage. In fact I have left mine in the car just incase I go to a pet store and decide I need another rat. It works wonderful for the trip home, I can put some bedding in and a little food. This makes it nicer for the animal, better then those cardboard boxes they give you when you purchase one. Overall I would say this is a good product for the money. It is inexpensive and is a nice way to welcome home new pets."

"I have a Chinese Hamster and this carrier is great if you are cleaning out their cage, taking them on a trip, or their cage breaks. (I wish I would have had this when my two "male" gerbils had babies and the dad could have eaten the pups. I had to keep him in his ball for three hours.) I like knowing a place to keep her just in case."

"I love this cage!!! If I just put my gerbils in the cage I can take them anywhere in the house instead of worrying about dropping them for my dog to eat. Also, for my friends and family who aren't too fond of gerbils they can view them while they are in their cage. They enjoy it a lot too especially since they don't have to travel in their aquarium (which feels every bump in the road!) Over all it is a great product."

"The problem that I found is that there is no way to attach a normal size watter bottle bottle to this thing. You would have to have some kind of miniature dropper in order to give your pets water in this thing. And my 2 rats would have that gone in a few seconds. Or else the water bottle tip is going to be touching the bottom of the cage and constantly leaking water on the floor of this carrier.
The top is curved, so you can't attach the water bottle to the outside....you have to find a way to make it fit inside.
