Ok, I am new to birds and bought this hoping it would entertain my parrotlet. (NOT a parrot, a species of parrot, go look it up) He quickly figured it out, after it took my mother n I about half an hour to get treats in it, as they kept falling out. Extremely hard to attach to the cage without treats falling out. And as soon as the bird figures it out (mine did in less then 24 hours) there is no "cup" to hold the treats, they fall straight to the floor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This thing has nothing going for it. I bought it for my quaker to give him something to work with in his cage, but returned it minutes after getting it home. The plastic is cheap, its extremely hard to fill, and if the bird DOES figure out how to pull the strings to release treats, there isn't enough of a lip to keep it in the dispenser, meaning it goes right to the floor. Furthermore, it did not work with my cage; I had to use a zip tie to secure it. I will not ever buy another of these toys from this company.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
