I bought this for my sugar gliders hoping to stimulate them mentally. I put it in and within literally three seconds of touching it, every last one of them understood how it worked. It appeared to be the most difficult of the enrichment pods they carried. They loved it cause of easy treats. I didn't like it cause it really didn't stimulate them past the fact of yummies. I would imagine a bird would figure it out quickly as well. I put a bell on the handle now they just move the door around hoping for treats and playing with the bell.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
