I have one senior and 2 younger cats that all eat out of the same bowls. Since switching to Innova they all have healthier coats and my senior is more peppyand is having less problems with her skin and eyes

popular choice for our three

This senior food seems to agree with all the double-digit cats in this household. At first I didn't think they liked it because the reaction is always sort of "meh... sure, I'll eat it" when I put it out for them. Yet the gravity feeder goes down steadily and it has remained a regular choice as other brands have come and gone. No health problems after changing over and thankfully no stomach upsets, maybe because the cats don't wolf it down like they used to do with some of the junk food dry brands out there with artificially maddening flavor additives. They eat it slowly and seem to trust it will sit well with them.
We serve this as a voluntary option in addition to wet feedings, except for one of the three who will only eat dry. Like kids, getting them to eat what's good for them is a challenge. This is one of a few healthy selections they will actually eat, so I'm glad they've stuck with it. Overall, with this as part of their diet for about two years, they have been doing well on it, and seem to be aging gracefully.
It's not as cheap as others but it's nutritious and satisfies in small amounts, so it ends up being a good value. Definitely worth a try if you want to get ahead of your cat's aging curve. Don't wait until they're elderly; I've seen differing suggested ages for starting senior diets, but I would say that you could start working this in at age ten or older. The sooner you start them on a good senior path, the longer they'll stay healthy and happy.

Morris wouldn't eat it

I have an obese, 11 year-old cat. In hopes of finding a high-protein, low-carb food, I chose this one. Sounded like great food, and it might be, but my spoiled, older cat wouldn't bite.
