I got this bed for my 12 pound Lakeland Terrier so she could learn to sleep by me, not with me before I got married! She LOVES this bed sooo much that she stayed in it all night from the first night I got it. In fact now she puts herself to bed around 8pm because she loves laying in it so much! I have to force her to stay up with me later. This bed is definitely high quality and sturdy. Only recommendation - the instructions I got for a medium bed say a max of 50 pounds, and I don't think a dog larger than the size of a Sheltie or Cocker would fit in this bed comfortably.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have a german shepard and a small dog. Our german shepard loves this bed. I put a crib sheet over a pad I bought so it is easier to clean. Only problem I had was they didn't sell the pillow/pad to fit in the large size bunk bed but I did find other pads that worked.
We are very pleased at how strong it is, we love it!
