I received this cat tree today an unfortunately we are disappointed. We have owned cats for over 10 years and rescued 5 kittens who recently turned 2 years old. The supplier where we used to get our cat furniture from stopped selling our "regular" model. In the past we have definitely learned that cheaper is exactley that, less money foe well, less quality. That's why I had been reluctant to purchase a new tree from somewhere else, especially without seeing it prior I purchasing it. I have been looking, to at the least. When I came across this model I was immediately intrigued. At the time it was on a different website and much more expensive, so when I found it cheaper I didn't think twice. Evn though the quality seems to be good and I really very much like the design, we agree that it needs to be larger. Now I understand why only kittens were pictured with this scratcher. None of our male cats will ever fit in the house or the tunnel. Most of our females won't either, I guess. The door itself is very small so that only our 7 and 8 lb cats fit. I have a large male of 20 lbs who will be watching the others play because he does not fit anywhere comfortably. Had the whole thing been about 135% of its size it would have been perfect and then the dimensions, from the thickness of the boards to the diameter of the posts would be about what we have purchased and been used to in the past. Overall I am disappointed because I could have saved my money towards something else ...

This is a high quality, easy to put together, great looking tree that both of my cats love. They are medium size cats, 11 bls and 8 lbs and both the house and the tunnel are big enough for them to play in although I've noticed the male sits on top of the tunnel more than going through it. They love to go into the house together...they often go in there for a wrestling match :). Well worth the money.

the house the cat is supposed to sleep in is a little to small, but will do. besides that its a awesome product for cats. my cat, (Smore) loves it and will play in it for a long time. i put toys up in the little house and smore loves it, she'll play in there for hours and sleep in the little house all night.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When I saw this cat tree online I just had to have it. It is so cute and my cat loves it. She sleeps in the little house and climbs all over it. It is a little pricy, but I have to say it's worth the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I chose this cat tree for its beautiful craftsmanship. I was not disappointed in its quality, but its size. The small hiding cylinder on the bottom and the house are too small for all but my new kitten. I ended up not attaching the house so my other cats could roam on the second level and enjoy it, too. Please keep this in mind, since I've looked everywhere for a recommended pet age to no avail.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
