I had used some other dust and it seemed to clump and make my chinchilla look frumpy. She seems much happier with this one and her fur has returned to its original gloss and shine

I get this dust for my 8 quail. They love to roll in it and clean themselves with it. It is a great way to provide clean and fine material for them to help keep their feather in great shape.

Blue Cloud Dust is the best stuff out there for bathing chinchillas. My first chin came with another brand and he always looked dirty. His coat was always separated, not fluffy at all. And he felt sandy right after dusting. I switched to Blue Cloud and the first dust bath made an immediate difference! It was like I had a brand new chin. I barely recognized him! He looked so super soft and fluffy - and happy! - that I never looked back. The whole new jar of that other brand was tossed barely used. I didn't even want to return it for some other poor chin to struggle with. Don't bother with anything else. This is the only dust to use for your chinchilla.
