HUGE and super shady!

When I bought this online I thought it was MUCH smaller, but that's my fault, I didn't pay attention to the dimensions that are clearly listed with the product. I just wanted the cool side of my corn snakes vivarium to be a little bit more shady. I was going to position the leaves to be over the water bowl. When it arrived, I was shocked to see how big it was (again, my fault)! I decided to see how it would work in there. I put it in there and it provided COMPLETE shade for the cool side of his tank whenever the lights were on, and even assisted greatly in keeping that side cool, as it deflects the beams of the lamps. The cool side now stays 5 degrees (Fahrenheit) cooler than it did before. SUCCESS- the kind I wasn't expecting! And to top it all off, this plant is unobtrusive, and gorgeous. it takes up very little space on the floor of the terrarium. I can see how a tree frog would absolutely ADORE this plant, even though I have it for a snake. It's quite realistic. I would definitely recommend!
