"I was NOT satisfied with this product.
Two of my cats are former ferals, and one of them is still relatively skittish. He doesn't take kindly to confinement. I purchased this carrier because I figured the top opening would make it easier for the kennel staff to remove him when I board them.
As it turns out, the carrier never made it that far. I put him in the thing and left it in the living room while I carried the other three out to the car. I came back to find an empty carrier- the mesh on the sides was such poor quality that the cat (now hiding under the bed) was able to rip it to shreds and escape in a matter of seconds!
Thank goodness we were still INSIDE when he managed to bust out of it, or I may never have seen him again.
This bag might be appropriate for a more placid animal, but owners with fractious cats should steer clear! Either way, I would recommend not chancing it. For a small price increase, you can purchase not only a FAR better carrier, but the peace of mind that comes with knowing your pet is both safe and secure inside said carrier.
My verdict? Pass on this one. In fact, I'd go so far as to encourage owners with these carriers to give serious consideration to discontinuing their use."
