One of the biggest, most aptly created tub for semi-aquatic turtles. One caveat to this: If you own aquatic turtles that can handle the water 24/7 without shell rot like a musk or mud turtle, this tub may not be for you.

My daughter's southern painted turtle loves her new habitat. She's far happier in the Turtle Tub than in an aquarium. This unique product allows her to swim and bask at will, like in the wild, and provides her a place to dig and lay her eggs. Highly recommend!

This is the best habitat for any water turtle! The Turtle Tub is especially key for breeding turtles, or keeping turtles that require some land.

My 2 mid-size (~5" shell) RES love it. It provides enough space for swimming and good space for basking. I planted some dandelions in the dry area for decoration and as a food source.
I use gravels and mulch in the dry area, The mulch isn't ideal because turtles drag it into the water and make it hard to clean. Another problem is that water tends to be brought into the dry area and stay there. It may become problematic with time. Wish there is an adjustable drain there.

The turtle tub is accurate in description, easy to move and clean and my turtles love it. The suggestion to use the mulch/cedar mixture is fine but you will need to net out the floating pieces the turtles drag into the water. In the future I may switch to sand, but when it gets and stays very wet, sand can be smelly. I only purchased the tub, not the complete kit as I already had most of the other accessories, etc. Shipping was prompt and I received the tub in about a week. I definitely recommend this for turtle keeping, although it isn't as attractive as an aquarium tank. I plan on adding an artificial ivy privacy covering for the outside of the tub.
