Good crate with exceptions

"We purchased this crate about five years ago for our Yellow Lab. She is a female and was not overly rambunctious as a puppy. She used it for about two years with no problems. Our new dog is a male Shepherd/Lab mix, 90 lbs and 13 months old. He has destroyed the front of the crate. All the welds are broken and the crate is pretty much junk because of the door section. I wish we could purchase a replacement door section and we could continue using this crate for a while longer.
I would not recommend this crate with a rowdy dog. Definitely need a heavier cage wire 7 or 9 gauge."

"My 11 month old lab broke the welds and bent the door and got out. Should be a bit more beefed up on the bottom strength bars. Only two. Need a half dozen at least. Easy to set up. A bit more detail to strengh and it would be very nice."

"Tried to crate train my 9 mos Lab. He has broken the welds on it, bent the door and the frame. He can get out of it easily. Have a different brand crate for my other large dog and never had any problem!"

"We just purchased this kennel, I was a little hesitant because I have heard that other kennels collapsed and were not sturdy. To my surprise this kennel is very sturdy. Our Husky is still getting used to it, but she runs in it."

"I ordered this crate as a bundle with some other goodies because the price was right. I thought because of the easy folding design it wouldn't be sturdy. Not only did it take less than 30 seconds (without reading any instructions) to "assemble", but once standing, it is very sturdy and has very little give when shaken. Two paws up."

I love this dog crate!

"I would highly recommend this crate for your dog. It is easy to put up and down. It is very sturdy and your pet will love it. I put a Snoozzy in the crate and now both my cat and dog fight to get into it. I tried other crates first, but this has been the best so far. I have a Border Collie mix, he is only 20 pounds. I got the crate that is a little bigger (for 70 pounds) so that he would have room to move and feel comfortable."

Portable and Sturdy

"I like the way this crate is made. It is sturdy and collapses to an easily managed size. The pan is made to catch waste and will not get kicked out by the dog. My dog also gives it 5 paws for being a great place to sleep. My kennel is his home...at home or away."
