Dogs fight over the house Date: December 4, 2008
"I bought one of these for my pomeranian, and he loves it. The only problem is the other two dogs we have also love it, so all three dogs tend to fight over the house! I put in a thick bed inside the house to make it more comfortable also. I purchased a small..and it leaves plenty of room inside even with the bed and my dog. Great buy! (easy to assemble)"

Disappointed in PORTLAND,OR. Date: November 16, 2008
"We received our dog house and was excited until we opened the box. The pieces have chips on the front wood. The roof had two left sides even thou they were marked left and right. the inside pieces were marked and glued down for the left side. We had to adjust the notched peices to make it fit. After it was all together I noticed it doesn't have a dog door on it. For the amount you have to spend on this product you would think it would come with one and without blemishes on it. We DON'T RECCOMMEND BUYING THIS PRODUCT ON LINE."

Cutest Little House Date: July 19, 2008
"This house was even nicer than I expected. It arrived within about 5 days of ordering via Fed Ex. I was able to easily assemble within 20 minutes. Surprisingly, the wood panels were already stained a nice reddish brown.
Though the wood smells good to the human nose, I decided to let it aerate for 48 hours before presenting it to my pug and chihuahua. I hope they love it as much as I do.
P.S For those with portly breeds, be aware this is recommended for dogs under 20 lbs."

Smells Like Cedar Date: July 8, 2008
"The directions are clear and it is easy to assemble. The only problem is my dog won't go in inside. Not sure if I waited too long (dog is 1 yr old) to get her the house or if she is just spoiled. She had been spending 75% of her day inside. I've just started to leave her outside while I'm at work, so I bought the house so she would have a place to get in out of the rain. It didn't work, she still stands under a tree. I'm keeping the house and hope that one day she will start to use it."

The best dog house ever Date: June 3, 2008
"I got a medium sized dog house for my beagle/lab mix who is about 30 pounds. I put it in the backyard and she just loves it! I can't have inside dogs so this dog house gives my dog the feeling that she is in the house lol. It is a great purchase if you have an outside dog because it really is like their miniature home; giving them shelter and warmth. It was easy for me to put it together, it took maybe 15-20 minutes."

Great dog house Date: April 29, 2008
"The Precision Pet Out back Country Lodge is easy to put together, great looking and an excellent value. The wood also smells great and is much better than the plastic variety dog house.
The company's idea of "medium" fits my 30lb Shiba Inu. I don't think it would accomodate a much larger dog.
Overall we are very pleased with our purchase."

okay for the price Date: April 4, 2008
"I didn't want anything overly fancy or anything that my dog could climb on top of and get over the fence on (or that my kids would think was a playhouse for themselves). This is a good house minus the flimsy wood. When it arrived a few of the pieces were splintered and shreds of wood were in the box I took some wood glue and puzzle pieced them back on where they were supposed to go. It only took about 15 minutes for me (a female by myself) to put it together which was nice so it was very simple to put together. My dog a cocker spaniel black lab mix fits perfectly in it (medium size) and seems to be pretty happy that he has a place to call his own."

A Truly "Country" Lodge Date: February 28, 2008
"The design and price of this doggie house was to hard to pass up. We purchased three of them for our French bulldogs to have when they spent time hanging outside. They look great in person, but the smell for the first couple of days is overwhelming! Our home smelled like a moth ball factory after we opened these inside to assemble. Once they were outside the good fresh air took that nasty smell away and our dogs just love them. I would not reccomend this if your dog is a chewer, they are made entirely from real wood! Overall a good buy."

nice but small Date: February 10, 2008
"This is a good looking dog house. It came with a few cracks in the wood but nothing I or my dog could not live with. It took no time at all to put it together, It also took no time at all to take it apart either. I have, what I consider a medium sized dog. There was no way he was going in this with out a treat inside. When he was inside he could not wait to get out. I thought it was to small but thought maybe I should have my husband double check my thoughts and he agreed. We measured it in comparison to the box. The measurements they give are the outside of the house. It would be a great size for a schipperkey (sp?) dog. Maybe a large would be good for my dog but petco does not sell a large size. So I returned it to the store. Which was no problem. To bad I really liked the house too!"

Hanky has a home! Date: February 7, 2008
"Let me first say it is the cutest doghouse ever and it only took about five days for Fed Ex to deliver. The doghouse came with very simple instructions...easy to follow. I had the four walls connected in 20 min or less. However, I ran into a little trouble with the roof. After playing with the two pieces for a little while, I finally had it attached and ready to go. Hint- the two roof pieces are stamped right and left front in the inside. The wood has a great color and the raised floor and adjustable legs are a plus. I recommend anyone looking for a reasonably priced doghouse to purchase this item…My Brussels Griffon Hanky loves it!"

Precision Pet Outback Country Lodges Date: January 18, 2008
"I got this dog house for my little 7lb pomeranian over the winter break. My boyfriend helped put the house together and it took him about 25 minutes. He had no trouble with it at all and the house looks wonderful. Also, the price for this dog house is great.
I just have a question, does anyone know if it is okay to be in heavy rain? would the wood go bad?"

Would have been GREAT but... Date: November 19, 2007
"The dimensions were indeed a little off (I didn't measure hopw much) on the medium size but it was still big enough. My issue is that one if the sides to the roof was warped! I ended up using my own 2" screws to hold it down becasue the screws provided were 1", which would have been sufficient had it not been warped. Otherwize, very happy with it and it looks great in our back yard."

Nice Doggie Home Date: May 17, 2007
"Hi! Having read everyone's input on these various dog houses before we purchased, I have to say that we are very pleased with ours. The Outback Country Lodge wood is solid, and the thing was put together in 20-30 minutes or so. No broken pieces. Great price, solid quality, easy assembly. Looks great. Fast UPS shipping, with email tracking. Hope that helps!"

Assembled in the kitchen and never made it outside Date: November 14, 2006
"Our Papillon puppy didn't wait for complete assembly before occupying her new dog house . . .As I attached the roof panels she was already in the dog house . . . Great looking . . . Very well constructed . . .Simple assembly taking perhaps 30 minutes , less if our Papillon didn't assist! My wife enjoys the little dog house it's still in our kitchen . . .Perhaps in the spring it will make its way to the outside deck but who knows with my wife and her little Papillon . . . Thinking of a dog house . . . try this one and ENJOY!"

Great product Date: November 12, 2006
"The
house was priced reasonably, and assembled easily. It is nice looking
and, more importantly, my dogs use the houses. They hated the snap
together plastic one I bought a few years ago. My 20 Lb. terrier fits
the small, but uses whatever house appeals to her at the moment. My
other dogs are in the 35-45 lb. range, and use the medium size,
although they get into the small at times as well. Yes, the pup chewed
on the corners a bit, but it is a DOG house. No real damage done."

Very Disappointed, not impressed Date: October 18, 2006
"The materials used in this product are not of good quality - as I unpacked it, peices of the wood would break off. The instructions are easy to follow, however when I got the doghouse assembled, it seemed rather small (I purchased a Medium) - so, I measured it. The disclaimer "Dimensions may vary slightly" can account for an inch or so of variance, but I would think the dimmensions would be somewhat in line with what is stated on the box - I didn't find them to be so.

The house is way too small for my medium-sized dog, and the material seems very inferior (looks good in the photo, but ...)"

Attractive, Sturdy, and Reasonable Date: August 24, 2006
"I am very pleased with this house. It is sturdy, well-made, and relatively easy to assemble. I did it by myself in about 1 hour. It is also very attractive and provides quite a bit of usable space. It sits several inches off the ground and is attractive. And, after shopping around, it is offered at an excellent price."
